Final Elective Report

Excerpt from the Handbook:

“Elective is a regular duty day, from 07:15-16:30 at each hospital. All residents doing an elective must coordinate with a designated staff. The residents must submit a detailed written proposal of objectives to be accomplished during the elective. The residents must report to the assigned faculty each morning after morning conference. The elective must be conducted at either BAMC or WHMC, unless it has been arranged and approved by the program director. Residents on elective are still required to attend the daily conferences. At the end of the elective, the residents will report to the faculty in writing what was actually accomplished during the elective. The assigned faculty will then write an evaluation at the end of the elective.”
